The first two days of the April 30 and May 1 holidays were quite cool, favorable for sightseeing and tourism, so there were many pilgrims to President Ho Chi Minh's hometown. According to the report of the Management Board of the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site (Nam Dan - Nghe An), on April 27-28, there were more than 27,000 visitors (983 groups) visiting here. On April 27 alone, there were more than 12,000 visitors, and on April 28, there were more than 15,000 visitors.

Most of the visitors came from provinces and cities in the country, with the largest number coming from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Some provinces far away such as Hau Giang, Tay Ninh, Son La, Lai Chau also had many groups of visitors visiting Uncle Ho's hometown; the largest group consisted of more than 300 people. In particular, there were 7 foreign groups coming from Japan, the US and Sri Lanka.

Most of the pilgrims to Uncle Ho's hometown visit the following places: his paternal hometown (Sen village), his maternal hometown (Hoang Tru village) and the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan - President Ho Chi Minh's mother. Of which, about 65% of the visitors are guided to visit and explained about the hometown, family and childhood of President Ho Chi Minh.
