More than 300 actors participate in the Elderly Singing Festival of Nghe An province
(Baonghean.vn) - The 2020 Nghe An Province Elderly Singing Festival has the participation of more than 300 actors from the Art Troupes of 20 districts, cities and towns across the province.
On the evening of September 21, in Vinh city, the Department of Culture and Sports coordinated with the Provincial Association of the Elderly to organize the Opening Ceremony of the 2020 Nghe An Provincial Elderly Singing Festival.

Singing FestivalSenior CitizenNghe An province in 2020 is a practical activity towards the 30th anniversary of the International Day of Older Persons (October 1, 1990 - October 1, 2020). At the same time, it aims to improve the quality of activities of the Association of the Elderly at all levels in the province; create conditions for members to exchange, learn and share experiences in the field of culture and arts.

Thereby, encouraging and mobilizing members to enthusiastically participate in the movement, promote creativity, and contribute to building a strong and sustainable Association. This is also an opportunity to exchange and connect the Association of the Elderly in the whole province, a useful playground to improve thespiritual lifeof old age, helping the elderly express optimism and love of life through the works they participate in performing.

The 2020 Nghe An Province Elderly Singing Festival has the participation of more than 300 actors from the Art Troupes of 20 districts, cities and towns across the province, selected from members in communes, wards and towns in the area.

The festival focuses on the theme of praise.old age - bright mirror, the emulation movement to protect and build the country of the elderly; praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the traditions of the homeland, the country and the revolutionary spirit and cultural life, production labor, building new rural areas in Nghe An homeland.

The 2020 Nghe An Province Elderly Singing Festival is expected to end and award the prizes on September 22.
