Over 300 million VND to support livelihoods for people with disabilities and orphans

(Baonghean.vn)-On the morning of August 9, the Association for the Protection of People with Disabilities and Orphans of Quy Hop District organized the implementation of a project to support livelihoods for people with disabilities and poor orphan families in Tho Hop Commune.

The project will be implemented with the contents of supporting buffalo and cow breeding, building toilets, bathrooms, supporting housing for the disabled and orphans with a total value of more than 300 million VND.

Immediately after the ceremony, the District Association for the Support of the Disabled and Orphans presented 10 buffaloes and cows to 10 disabled and orphaned people worth 200 million VND, of which the Association for the Support of the Disabled and Orphans of Nghe An province and Quy Hop district supported 100 million VND, the remaining amount was from relatives and families of the beneficiaries.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Tung, Chairman of the District People's Committee, presented cows to disabled people in Tho Hop commune (Quy Hop).

The project to support livelihoods for people with disabilities and orphans is one of the practical activities, helping people with disabilities have the conditions to invest in economic development and serve their daily living needs. Through this activity, it also helps people with disabilities confidently reintegrate into the community.
