(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of May 27, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the People's Committee of Cua Lo Town, Tien Phong Newspaper, and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to hold a press conference to announce the "Beauty of the coastal city" contest Cua Lo 2016.

Attending the press conference were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Dinh Hung - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Nguyen Nam Dinh - Secretary of Cua Lo Town Party Committee, representatives of leaders of departments and branches, representatives of sponsors, actor Minh Tiep, 2nd runner-up Miss Vietnam 2008 Thuy Van and many contestants, reporters from central and local press.

This is an event in a series of tourism activities organized in Nghe An in 2016, and is the basis for selecting representatives of Nghe An's female youth to participate in the Miss Vietnam 2016 contest.

Contestants are Vietnamese young women aged 18 to 27, living, studying, working and laboring in Nghe An province; Nghe An young women (or people with hometown in Nghe An) currently living, studying, working and laboring in schools, agencies, units, enterprises and localities in provinces and cities across the country and the world.

The contest will take place from June 18, 2016, the final night will take place on the evening of July 8, 2016 at Binh Minh Square, Cua Lo Town. Contestants will compete in the following categories: Vietnamese Ao Dai; Beach Beauty (swimsuit, participating in activities on the beach); Evening gown and optional costume; Talent. In addition, contestants will participate in environmentally friendly activities at Cua Lo beach and some social security activities.
