Coach Park Hang-seo reveals Luong Xuan Truong's problem
Referring to Luong Xuan Truong, coach Park Hang-seo for the first time opened up about his true wishes for the midfield of U23 Vietnam.

It is not difficult for experts to see what a forgettable tournament Luong Xuan Truong had at ASIAD 2018. Referring to this issue, coach Park Hang-seo for the first time opened up about his true wishes for the midfield of U23 Vietnam.
"I really want two 'fiery' midfielders, with a fighting spirit, good physical strength and the ability to cut off the opponent's long-range attacks when we play with a 3-4-3 formation. But unfortunately, at the moment I cannot have the right type of players as I wish.""Luong Xuan Truong is not a midfielder who is strong in intercepting from a distance, in fighting, in duels, or in physical strength. His forte is the ability to pass the ball and launch attacks. Therefore, our midfield is not as balanced and efficient as I would like."
"I don't know and can't say for sure why Xuan Truong can't play as well as I want. He's still healthy and doesn't have any mental problems. I think it's possible, I'm just saying it's possible, Xuan Truong is used to the club's style of play and he's played very well and effectively with the club's style of play. But when playing for the national team, the style of play in the national team is different from the club's, so maybe he's not familiar with it and that's why he can't play as well as he wants."
"If so, it is really regrettable, but I want to reiterate that Xuan Truong is still an important factor of the team, an experienced player and can still contribute a lot to the team," said coach Park.
While Xuan Truong was extremely disappointing, there were two things that the media was interested in: why Mr. Park did not let Van Quyet start against Korea (he explained this in the press conference after the semi-final and explained it more clearly in the conversation on the morning of August 30) and why he did not give more playing opportunities to Minh Vuong, the author of the beautiful goal against Korea.
