Spending over 200 million pounds, Arsenal still finalizes new recruit
Arsenal are planning another big-money move after completing the signings of Viktor Gyokeres and Cristhian Mosquera.
Arsenal's summer 2025 spending target is set to surpass £200m, but manager Mikel Arteta isn't done yet. Having successfully signed Kepa Arrizabalaga, Christian Norgaard and Martin Zubimendi, Arsenal are set to announce three more deals this week.
Noni Madueke completed his medical ahead of a £50m move from Chelsea, while Cristhian Mosquera also said goodbye to Vaeancia and is just a few steps away from completing a move to the Emirates in the next 48 hours.

Despite some issues still to be resolved, Arsenal are almost certain to complete the signing of striker Viktor Gyokeres. According to The Athletic, Arsenal could be on the verge of another big-money move, with Eberechi Eze and Rodrygo in their sights.
Eze wants to join Arsenal despite facing fierce competition for central midfield, with captain Martin Odegaard having taken over since replacing Emile Smith Rowe, while Ethan Nwaneri has also been promised more playing time.

Rodrygo was rarely used by Xabi Alonso at the 2025 FIA Club World Cup. However, to recruit Rodrygo, Arsenal had to spend about 80 million pounds, while his salary was also among the highest income groups in the club.
To have more budget for shopping, Arsenal will likely say goodbye to some players. Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, Jakub Kiwior can be sold if the "Gunners" receive a reasonable offer.
French-Vietnamese central defender joins Hanoi Police Club
Hanoi Police Club has reached an agreement to recruit central defender Leygley Adou Minh from Hong Linh Ha Tinh Club. The deal could be completed in the next few days so that the police team can register the new player in time.
Adou Minh is the most impressive overseas Vietnamese player in V.League 2024/25. He quietly went on trial at the Central team and then gradually took over the starting position under coach Nguyen Thanh Cong. Hong Linh Ha Tinh showed solidity in defense with the duo of Helerson and Adou Minh in the penalty area.

He played a total of 22 matches in V.League, scored 1 goal and 1 assist, contributing greatly to Hong Linh Ha Tinh's 5th place overall.
Leygley Minh Adou was born in 1997 and has French nationality. He just moved to Ha Tinh at the beginning of the 2024-2025 season and was registered to play in the slot reserved for foreign players of Vietnamese origin. This center back has not completed the procedures for naturalization.
According to Transfermarkt data, Adou Minh is 1m78 tall and is valued at 100,000 euros (nearly 3 billion VND). He was trained in France and played for several lower-ranked teams there before returning to Vietnam to play for Ha Tinh. This player has played for Grenoble, Annecy and Racing in France and has shown many good qualities to develop.
Luong Xuan Truong received huge bribes in Binh Phuoc
Former Hoang Anh Gia Lai star received a huge bonus when joining the First Division team.
No longer a rumor, recently midfielder Luong Xuan Truong has officially become a new player of Binh Phuoc Club and reunited with two old teammates Cong Phuong and Minh Vuong on this team.

Xuan Truong’s contract with Binh Phuoc is for 3 years. According to sources, the former Hoang Anh Gia Lai star received a signing bonus of no less than 5 billion VND/year when joining this First Division team.
This is a contract that Binh Phuoc has received a lot of expectations for. After missing out on a promotion ticket last season, Binh Phuoc is very eager to be present at all costs in the V-League next season.
It is known that the V-League 2025/2026 will take place from August 15, 2025 and end on June 18, 2026. The Vietnam National First Division is expected to take place from September 19, 2025 and end on June 17, 2026.
Malaysia withdraws from 2025 CAFA Nations Cup
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) recently confirmed that the national team will not participate in the 2025 CAFA Cup of Nations due to changes related to the competition schedule and difficulties in summoning players.
The tournament was originally scheduled to take place within the international match calendar of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). However, the updated schedule (from August 29 to September 8) is outside the official schedule. This means that clubs are not obliged to release their players, causing a major obstacle for Malaysia as many key players are currently playing in Spain, Argentina, Colombia and Japan.

Commenting on the decision, Malaysia head coach Peter Cklamovski said: “It is unrealistic to ask players to travel to Tajikistan and immediately play at a high level under limited conditions. We are aiming for a long-term goal. Participation is not just about showing up, but about being truly ready to compete at the highest level.”
According to FAM, the withdrawal comes from a series of personnel difficulties when it is not possible to ensure the ability to summon a full force, risks related to travel and logistics, budget limitations as well as recovery funds according to FIFA regulations. In addition, if participating in the tournament in suboptimal conditions, the team also faces the risk of not achieving the best performance when competing at the international level./.
