The accident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. on December 1, 2017, on National Highway 1A, Vinh City bypass. Accordingly, the truck with license plate 37S - 2157 was loaded with packaging and was traveling in the South - North direction. When reaching the intersection with the residential road in Hamlet 5, Hung My Commune (Hung Nguyen District), due to handling an emergency, the vehicle swerved and overturned, crushing two motorbikes that were waiting to cross the road.

The accident caused Ms. NTT (born in 1979, residing in Hung Chinh commune, Vinh city) to die on the spot. Two people on the motorbike were seriously injured.

2. Going to the market, a woman was run over and killed by a truck

3. Collision with a truck, a secondary school student died on the spot

The accident occurred at around 6:00 a.m. on November 23, 2017, at the intersection between National Highway 1A and Road 36, passing through Hoang Mai town.

At the time, two students (both attending a local secondary school) were on their way to school. When they arrived at the location, they collided with a truck with license plate 37C-265XX traveling towards Hoang Mai town - Nghia Dan district.

The strong collision caused both students to fall onto the road. One was run over by the truck and died on the spot. The other was seriously injured and was taken to the emergency room in critical condition by local people.

4. Truck lost control and crashed into 3 oncoming vehicles, 3 people in critical condition

The accident happened at about 12 noon on September 27, 2017, on National Highway 48, passing through Nghia My Commune (Thai Hoa Town).

Accordingly, at the above time, the truck with license plate: 37C-249.24 driven by Pham Van Hoang (1990, residing in Nghia Thuan, Thai Hoa town), was traveling in the direction of Dien Chau - Thai Hoa. When reaching Doc Lui curve, due to the high speed of the vehicle encountering slippery rain, the vehicle lost control and crashed into 2 cars and 1 motorbike moving in the opposite direction.As a result, 3 people were seriously injured.

5. Truck collides with container, 2 vehicles crushed on Vinh bypass

The accident occurred on the morning of February 27, 2018, on the bypass road through Vinh City, Nghe An. At the scene of the accident, 2 cars - 1 truck, 1 container truck were lying next to each other, both cars had their fronts crushed, the driver of the red truck lay motionless.

According to initial information from people at the scene, the cause of the accident is believed to be due to the road being too slippery, the driver could not control the steering wheel leading to this terrible accident.

6. Trucks collided on Yen Ly overpass, 2 people in critical condition

The accident occurred at around 2:00 p.m. on December 23, 2020, at Yen Ly overpass through Dien Yen commune, Dien Chau district.

Accordingly, at the above time, truck with license plate 37C -249.44, pulling a trailer with license plate 37R - 01.590, was moving in the direction of Thai Hoa Town - Dien Chau, when approaching the foot of Yen Ly overpass, it collided with a truck traveling in the opposite direction.

The strong collision caused the front of the 37C-249.44 truck to be completely crushed, the driver and the assistant were seriously injured and were immediately taken to the emergency room by local people. The other truck also had a blown rear tire and damaged the truck bed.

7. Passenger bus crashes into truck, driver dies in cabin

The accident occurred at about 2:15 p.m. on October 27, 2017, at km4+750 on Vinh City bypass, through Hamlet 1, Nghi Dien Commune, Nghi Loc District.

At the above time, the passenger bus running on the Hanoi - Dak Lak route with license plate 47B-005.69 arrived at the above location and overtook and crashed straight into a 1.4-ton truck with Nghe An license plate.

The accident left truck driver Nguyen Viet Long (born in 1989, Hung Tien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An) dead on the spot; 50 panicked passengers, the bus driver and 6 people injured, of whom 1 was seriously injured.

8. 6 people died after two accidents in Nghe An

Two accidents occurred on the same National Highway 48, just one kilometer apart, claiming six lives, including a child.

Accordingly, at about 4:00 p.m. on March 31, 2017, a 29-seat passenger bus traveling on National Highway 48 from Vinh City to Que Phong, when reaching Nghia Xuan Commune (Quy Hop, Nghe An), was hit by a truck traveling in the opposite direction. 3 people on the bus died on the spot (including 1 child), several others were injured and taken to the hospital.

About an hour later, also on Highway 48, about 1 kilometer from the accident site, three young men living in Nghia Xuan commune (Quy Hop, Nghe An) were riding a motorbike and crashed head-on into a tractor trailer, killing all three on the spot.

The strong collision caused the person sitting in front of the motorbike to be dragged under the truck, dying on the spot, while the person sitting in the back was seriously injured and died shortly thereafter.

10. Truck lost control and caused a series of accidents on National Highway 1A.

While staggering, the truck crashed into a motorbike with license plate 37F8 – 6345 driven by Mr. Tran Xuan Dau, residing in block 1, Cau Giat town, and a passenger bus with license plate 37B – 015.44 that was stopped at a red light in front.

The strong collision seriously injured both motorcyclists, the truck driver was slightly injured and was taken to the emergency room by local people.
