The Youth Union also acts as a credit guarantee with banks, lending more than 1 billion VND to help union members have capital to develop their economy.

Up to now, the locality has built 8 youth economic models, with the following occupations: production and business of handicrafts; civil carpentry and mechanical engineering, rattan and bamboo weaving for export, development of comprehensive livestock farms with an annual income of 80 - 200 million VND/year, creating stable jobs for more than 100 local youth workers.

In line with the Project “Vocational training for rural workers until 2020” of the Provincial People’s Committee and the Project “Supporting youth in vocational training and job creation in the period 2008-2015” of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, in recent years, Yen Thanh district has had many practical programs to help young people establish themselves and start a business. Currently, the whole district has 165 youth economic models with high income, with over 30% of young people participating in local economic development.

The District People's Committee assigned the District Agricultural Technical Vocational College to be the "main" unit in vocational training for workers in general and young people in particular. Every year, the school actively participates in opening vocational training classes for young people, focusing on 8 long-term, short-term and regular occupations, closely linked to the commitment to create jobs after training.

Recently, more than 100 students of the 4th course in 5 training majors: fashion sewing, industrial electricity, automobile technology, mechanical assembly, welding, after graduation were recruited by LILAMA 18 Company; Assembly Company 5; MLB TENERGY LLC to work with stable salaries.
