MV Em gai mua is a short film about a student named Vy (actress Thanh Vy) who has a one-sided love for an intern named Vu (Mai Tai Phen).

Love blossomed at first sight, through classes, extracurricular activities, and when Mr. Vu drove Vy home in the rain.

Everything made her feel moved and mistakenly thought that what he did was out of love, but on the day Mr. Vu was hospitalized, she discovered that he - the person she loved - already had a lover.

She worriedly ran to the hospital to visit him, only to receive an ending that left her heart broken and hurt. Her love for him was like "young buds eagerly waiting for the rain, just like me in the past."
