Towards the National Congress: Enthusiasm and expectations!
(Baonghean) - Enthusiasm, concerns and many expectations sent to 16 delegates representing Nghe An youth attending the 11th National Youth Union Congress were the main contents throughout the youth exchange and dialogue that recently took place in Vinh city.
Crossing the empty space of the stadium and the yard of Nghe An University of Economics, it was just past 7pm but the weather was quite cold. However, when entering the large hall, where nearly 400 outstanding youth union members representing the youth union members of the whole province were present to attend the night of exchange and dialogue, the atmosphere was very warm, as if radiating from the enthusiasm of each person and the traditional green color of Vietnamese youth.

Not only are there thoughts, trust and expectations for the delegation representing Nghe An youth union members attending the 11th National Youth Union Congress; but the 16 members of the delegation also hope to be "inspired" by those messages from the youth union representatives during the night of exchange and dialogue as preparation for attending the great festival of the youth of the whole country.
Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Pham Tuan Vinh spoke before the exchange and dialogue: "Through this forum, the delegation of Nghe An youth attending the National Youth Union Congress wants to listen to and receive your thoughts, aspirations, proposals and recommendations, so that we can represent you to send them to the National Youth Union Congress."
That also means that the responsibility placed on the shoulders of the delegation of Nghe An youth union members attending this National Youth Union Congress is extremely important to convey and reflect the thoughts and aspirations of the province's youth union members to the highest organization of the youth union. And because of that, for more than 400 youth union members representing the youth of the whole province attending the dialogue exchange night, there is also a not small responsibility, which is to fully and qualitatively reflect the wishes of the grassroots youth union members to the delegation right before departure.
Therefore, when listening to Mr. Dang Dinh Quang - Head of the Provincial Youth Union's Propaganda Department, representative of the delegation, announcing some outstanding results of the 17th Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Congress that just took place and some important contents in the draft documents of the 11th National Youth Union Congress, term 2017 - 2022, the whole hall attentively watched the big screen on the stage to absorb the information conveyed. "We must listen carefully to the contents to know and make recommendations accurately and completely" - some youth union members of Vinh University sitting near us reminded each other like that.
That is why, when the representative of the Provincial Youth Union organized a small test with multiple choice questions to test the level of information absorption and memorization of the youth union members right after the presentation of Mr. Dang Dinh Quang ended, the atmosphere in the hall was filled with enthusiasm with hundreds of arms raised simultaneously to "win" the right to answer after each time the MC read the question...
Following the quiz is the important content of the exchange night, which is that the youth union members directly dialogue with the delegation; reflect their wishes, concerns and recommendations, proposals to the union chapters at all levels on the contents of concern. In particular, the most reflected content is the issue of supporting young people in economic development, career establishment and job search after graduation of students.

Regarding this content, member Nguyen Linh Chi - Faculty of Political Education, Vinh University raised questions and concerns: “We understand that the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Youth Union Congress clearly states that during the term, 20 or more youth start-up projects will be supported. The draft document of the National Youth Union Congress identifies 1,000 youth start-up and innovation projects to be supported.
This is a difficult content to implement, because in reality, the awareness of young people about entrepreneurship is still limited, while there are many young people who want to start a business, including students, rural youth, urban youth, even youth in mountainous areas... with many different characteristics. Besides, our current movement activities have done a very good job of arousing the spirit of entrepreneurship in young people.
At the recent Young Entrepreneurs and Youth Startup Forum, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue introduced the phrase “Creative Startup” - that is the startup of development and what should be chosen to start a business, how to be creative and start a business? That has been raising many questions for the activities of the Youth Union, not only having a movement nature but also needing to have depth.
On behalf of many youth union members, I would like to propose that at this National Congress of the Youth Union, delegates will focus on discussing this issue in depth, coming up with specific, scientific, and practical solutions that will be implemented throughout the congress, not just stopping at slogans and appeals. As for Nghe An youth, what is the key solution that the Youth Union at all levels will implement in the coming time?
The opinion of member Nguyen Linh Chi was applauded by the whole hall, because it is also the thoughts, wishes and concerns of many members of the provincial youth union. For young people, in addition to building ambitions and aspirations, the important thing to help those ambitions become reality is to create a solid economic foundation for themselves, to be supported on the path of starting a business and establishing a career.
In the same spirit, many youth union members who are currently students studying at universities and colleges in the province were present at the exchange and dialogue night, warming up the atmosphere of the hall with questions and sharing about future careers... For example, Nguyen Quoc Cuong - a student at the Vietnam-Germany Vocational College of Technology and Industry raised the concern: "What solutions have the youth union chapters at all levels had and will have to overcome the situation of students having to hide their university degrees after graduation to find jobs in industrial parks? I request that the delegation report this situation to the National Youth Union Congress so that the youth union chapters at all levels can soon have solutions to overcome it."
In addition to the issue of youth start-ups and career establishment, many other areas were also reflected by the youth union members at the exchange and dialogue night. Each question and each answer at the exchange and dialogue received enthusiastic applause. The atmosphere was continuously heated up. Moved and excited by the success of the exchange and dialogue night, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Pham Tuan Vinh solemnly promised: "We have received and recorded all your reflections, thoughts and aspirations and will fully reflect them to this National Youth Union Congress. We have prepared very carefully so that the reflections and contributions of the Nghe An delegation will achieve the highest quality at the congress".
