Legendary Russian tank flips over in the middle of the square at the parade
A legendary Russian T-34 tank suddenly flipped over and landed on its belly in the middle of a square in the city of Kursk after slipping off a specialized transport truck.
Spectators watching the parade in the western Russian city of Kursk were startled when a T-34, a legendary Russian tank in World War II, suddenly flipped over after slipping off a specialized transport vehicle, RT reported.

The unexpected incident occurred on August 23, right after the parade celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Soviet army's victory over the Nazis in the Battle of Kursk in 1943. The parade went smoothly with the participation of a series of modern Russian military equipment.
According to a video posted on social media, Russian soldiers were lucky to escape the scene where the tank weighing dozens of tons collapsed. No one was injured in the incident.
Witnesses said they saw smoke coming from the tank, but it was only a small fire that firefighters quickly put out. The tank was then loaded onto a truck and towed safely back to base. The T-34 is said to cost a considerable amount of money to repair after the "exposed belly" incident.

The T-34 is considered one of the best tanks of the Soviet Red Army when participating in combat operations, accounting for 55% of the tanks the Soviet Union owned at the end of World War II.
The most appreciated feature of the T-34 is its simple design, which makes it easy to manufacture and easy to repair when problems arise during combat. The T-34 weighs 26.5 tons, with a maximum speed of 53 km/h. Armament includes a 76.2mm main gun (the T-34-85 version uses an 85mm main gun), 2 7.62mm machine guns.
