According to Xinhua, the parade will showcase many types of high-tech weapons that have never been announced before. The focus is expected to be on precision strike missiles capable of flying five times the speed of sound, anti-ship missiles and hypersonic weapons.
Magnificent scale with 45 formations and hundreds of aircraft
The event is expected to last 70 minutes and will involve 45 formations and hundreds of aircraft of various types, including fighters, bombers and transport aircraft. The airborne formations will include most of the main combat aircraft of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).
Organized according to modern combat model
Military assets are organized into battle groups based on real-world scenarios. These groups include land and sea combat, air defense, missile defense, information warfare, unmanned operations, logistics support, and strategic strike.
