The notable point in this training list is that midfielder Huynh Nhu will not be able to participate because she plays for Lank Club. But the good news for Vietnamese fans is that Huynh Nhu is expected to join the women's team to participate in the upcoming 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia. Evaluating the forces called up for concentration, Coach Mai Duc Chung said that in 2023, the National Women's Team will have to participate in many tournaments with important tasks, including the first qualifying round of the 2024 Women's Olympics, the 32nd SEA Games and the Final Round.World Cup 2023.

“In order to prepare thoroughly for these important tournaments, especially the 2023 World Cup finals, we have called many young faces to get used to training and competing in the national team. All players must make great efforts and always strive to improve themselves, meeting the requirements and coaching style set by the coaching staff. Although we will face lower-ranked opponents in the upcoming Olympic qualifying round, we must not be subjective and must focus fully to continue towards the next tournaments,” said Coach Mai Duc Chung.

According to the plan, the team members will take roll call on the morning of March 10 and then move to Cam Pha (Quang Ninh) for training. After more than a week of physical training (from March 11 to March 18), Coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will return to the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (Hanoi) and move on to the stage of team assembling and training techniques and tactics. There will be a number of friendly matches in between before moving to Nepal to participate in the first qualifying round of the 2024 Women's Olympic Games - Asia region.

In the first qualifying round of the 2024 Women's Olympics, the Vietnamese women's team is in Group C, playing two matches with Afghanistan on April 5 and host Nepal on April 11./.
