A VNA correspondent in the Middle East said this was Tehran's response after earlier that day, foreign ministers of Arab League (AL) member countries held an urgent meeting in Cairo, Egypt, at the request of Saudi Arabia, and accused Iran of "interfering" in the internal affairs of Arab countries.
On his personal Twitter page, Foreign Minister Zarif affirmed that "Saudi Arabia accuses Iran of causing instability, while they themselves sponsor terrorists, wage war in Yemen, blockade Qatar and cause crisis in Lebanon."
Foreign Minister Zarif's statement came after a trilateral meeting between the foreign ministers of Russia, Türkiye and Iran in Türkiye.
He also affirmed that if Arab countries "change their methods, they can still participate in promoting regional peace instead of war-mongering policies".
According to him, the great achievements during 11 months of peace talks to end the Syrian conflict "show that if countries in the region cooperate, instead of wrong policies, it is possible to achieve beneficial results" for all parties./.
