IS claims responsibility for bombing of anti-terrorism camp in Yemen
IS's Amaq news agency reported two "martyrdom operations" targeting an anti-terrorism camp in Tawahi district, Aden, leaving dozens of people dead or injured.
According to Reuters, on February 24, the Amaq news agency of the self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS) organization said that this terrorist organization admitted to causing the double suicide bombing that occurred in the city of Aden, Yemen earlier that day.
Amaq reported two “martyrdom operations” targeting an anti-terrorism camp in Aden’s Tawahi district. However, the news agency did not provide further details.
Earlier, medical staff and witnesses said dozens of people were killed and injured in two suicide car bombings in the city of Aden.
Officials at the city's main Jumhouriya hospital said the bodies of five victims, mostly soldiers, had been brought to the facility along with many wounded, mostly civilians./.
