On the afternoon of April 24, the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province, the People's Committee of Cua Lo town coordinated with the Vietnam Volleyball Federation to organize the opening ceremony of the National Beach Volleyball Tournament Tour I 2019.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, Department of Culture and Sports, leaders of Cua Lo town, athletes and many people in the area.
The 2019 Tour I National Volleyball Tournament in Cua Lo town has 70 athletes from 35 teams from 11 provinces and cities across the country, including: Phu Yen, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Soc Trang, Can Tho, Da Nang, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Khanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Kien Giang, Military Region 4. Of which, there are 19 men's teams and 16 women's teams competing for 5 days, from April 23 to April 27.

The National Beach Volleyball Tournament Tour I 2019 is part of the national tournament system held annually. This is an activity to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, International Labor Day 1/5, the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday and to welcome the opening of the Cua Lo beach tourism season in 2019.
The tournament is a large-scale, prestigious, and highly professional sports activity aimed at serving the sports enjoyment needs of the masses, creating conditions for people to directly enjoy matches and football moves of high professional level, and at the same time selecting excellent athletes for the national team to participate in international tournaments.
