Opening of the Faith Cup Football Tournament to raise funds for charity
(Baonghean.vn) - Nearly 200 million VND was donated to the Faith Cup Football Tournament to raise funds for charity, organized by Faith Group to support and share difficulties with Huu Khuong Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Tuong Duong District on the afternoon of June 15.
Attending the tournament were comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; units, philanthropists, businesses in the province and football team members.

Considered an "oasis" in the heart of Ban Ve hydroelectric lake, Huu Khuong is one of the particularly difficult border communes in Tuong Duong district, with 100% of the population being ethnic minorities (Thai, Kho Mu, H'Mong); transportation is difficult and 5/7 villages do not have national grid electricity, 1 village does not have mobile phone signal.
In particular, Huu Khuong has many schools that are lacking in facilities, teaching and learning equipment, accommodation and living conditions... causing the quality of teaching and learning of schools as well as students in these areas to be significantly affected, of which Huu Khuong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities is a typical example.

Sharing the difficulties with the school, Faith Group organized the Faith Cup Football Tournament to raise funds and support Huu Khuong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities. This activity aims to encourage the spirit and help the school and students have better conditions for teaching and learning.

With the spirit of exchange, learning and extending the arms of charity, the Football Tournament took place enthusiastically, openly and contributed many beautiful attacks by players from 4 teams: FC OPND and Friends; Department of Transport; FC Provincial Social Insurance; FC Provincial Radio and Television Station.

Before the match, units, benefactors, and businesses in the province donated nearly 200 million VND to the charity fund. This amount will be presented by the Niem Tin group to teachers and students of Huu Khuong Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Tuong Duong district in the near future.

The tournament is a joint effort, accompanying social security programs, each person contributes a small amount to spread and multiply in life to light the flame of belief in a brighter, better tomorrow for teachers and students in some difficult mountainous schools.
