(Baonghean.vn) - Yesterday afternoon (October 15) at the Maritime University Stadium - Hai Phong City, the opening ceremony of the 3rd Nghe An Association and SLNA Fans Association Football Tournament in Hai Phong City took place.

Nghe An Association Football Tournament is a tournament organized by Nghe An Association and Song Lam Nghe An Supporters Association in Hai Phong City.

This year's tournament has 10 teams from districts, cities and towns of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, including: Quynh Luu FC, Dien Chau FC, Tu Hung FC, Nhut Tuong Xu Nghe FC, Ha Tinh FC, Song La FC, Thanh Vinh FC, 37 Hong Ha and Hoang Thanh FC. The teams are divided into 2 groups, competing in a round robin to select the 4 strongest teams to enter the semi-finals.

The tournament will take place at the Maritime University - Hai Phong City from October 15, 2017 to November 26, 2017. In addition to the purpose of providing a healthy playground for Nghe people studying, working and living in Hai Phong, the tournament also promises to bring exciting matches, a place to exchange and connect the homeland sentiment of Nghe An - Ha Tinh of the children of Nghe in the Red Flamboyant City and especially through the tournament, the Organizing Committee calls on sponsors to turn to their homeland to support the people of Nghe An and Ha Tinh who have just been affected by the recent storm No. 10.

The money raised will be publicly transferred by the Organizing Committee to the Flood Fund of the Nghe An Provincial Council in Hai Phong before planning to visit and give gifts to the people in November 2017.
