Opening of the 2017 Competition for Excellent Deputy Commanders of Military Commands of Communes, Wards and Towns

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 21, at Regiment 764(Nghe An Provincial Military Command)The Provincial People's Committee opened the 2017 Competition for Deputy Commanders of Military Commands of Communes, Wards and Towns. The competition was attended by 42 outstanding Deputy Commanders of Military Commands from districts, cities and towns.

During the 2 days, 42 Deputy Commanders of the Military Commands of communes, wards and towns will undergo the following tests: Political awareness test; Unarmed team command test; Practice training of militia and self-defense tactics; Infantry combat technique test.

Thereby, raising comprehensive awareness of local defense and military work, political mettle, capacity, staff work, organization and implementation of local defense and military tasks for grassroots cadres and the capacity to command and manage the Militia and Self-Defense Forces of units to meet the requirements and tasks of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

Speaking at the contest, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai praised the efforts of leaders and commanders at all levels along with the awareness, responsibility and determination of the officials participating in the contest. At the same time, the Vice Chairman of the province requested the officials participating in the contest to strictly comply with the discipline, contest regulations and the regulations of the Organizing Committee; and must always demonstrate the spirit of solidarity and mutual learning.
