Opening of the 2019 Provincial Political School Excellent Teaching Competition

On the morning of October 31, the Provincial Political School held the opening ceremony of the 2019 Excellent Teaching Competition. Attending the competition were comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Principal of the school; representatives of the Organizing Committee; and the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

The competition for excellent lecturers at the Provincial Political School is an important and practical activity for political theory training and fostering.

Through the contest, lecturers will be encouraged to actively update new knowledge, innovate teaching methods, and practice skills; it is an opportunity for lecturers of faculties and departments to study, exchange and share experiences with each other to improve their professional qualifications and skills, contributing to meeting the requirements of training and fostering cadres of the province.

From there, promote the emulation movement of "good teaching, good learning", helping lecturers continue to improve their spirit, awareness, professional responsibility and professional sentiment.

On the other hand, through the preparation process for the competition, it will be a good opportunity and condition for the school to evaluate and classify lecturers, on that basis, have a plan to train and develop the teaching staff in the following years.

At the same time, through organizing competitions, promptly discover, encourage and replicate positive and creative factors in teachers' pedagogical activities to promote improvements in teaching content and methods, contributing to improving training quality.

Thereby, the school has more basis to build training plans, supplement regulations, train and foster lecturers of the school every year, creating conditions to further promote innovation in teaching and learning methods, contributing to creating changes in quality and more efficiency in teaching political theory.

The contest is a practical activity to celebrate the anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Charter Day (November 20); the 73rd anniversary of the tradition of the Provincial Political School (November 18, 1946 - November 18, 2019).
