Free medical examination for women in the border area of Tuong Duong district
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 19, the Women's Union of the Logistics Department, Nghe An Border Guard Command organized medical examinations, provided free medicine and gave gifts to women in Tam Hop commune, Tuong Duong district.
More than 100 women in the border area received primary health care, medicine, and knowledge about reproductive health care and other related content.

On this occasion, the delegation presented Tam Hop commune health station with 3 water purifiers and books to poor students who overcame difficulties to study well in Tam Hop commune with a total cost of over 10 million VND.
The program's funding is mobilized and donated by the Women's Union of the Logistics Department from charitable organizations and individuals.
On the same day, Tam Hop Border Guard Station coordinated with local authorities to donate 16 pairs of breeding goats to poor and disadvantaged households in the commune.
The total cost for this donation of breeding animals is 67,200,000 VND from contributions from officers, soldiers and benefactors.
