Inauguration of the memorial stele of poetess Ho Xuan Huong

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 20 (the second day of the Lunar New Year), the People's Committee of Quynh Doi Commune, Quynh Luu District held an inauguration ceremony for the memorial stele of poetess Ho Xuan Huong. Attending the ceremony were Ms. Ho Thi Kim Thoa - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Hoang Lam - Chairman of Vietnam Paper Corporation, representatives of Vietnam Textile and Garment Group, along with the Party Committee, government and people of Quynh Doi Commune.

The memorial stele of poetess Ho Xuan Huong was built in 1998. Currently, some parts of the structure have been degraded. This is a structure located in the historical relic complex of Nghe An province, including the mausoleum of revolutionary patriot Ho Tung Mau, martyr Cu Chinh Lan, and the tombstone of Ho Phi Tich in village 3, Quynh Doi commune, Quynh Luu district.

The cost of this construction and renovation is about 400 million VND, contributed by Mr. Ho Duc Dat's family - a son of Quynh Doi village. The items that were renovated and renewed include the stele house, stone stele, garden, and ornamental plants.
