The fire broke out at 3:30 p.m. on April 7 at a scrap warehouse on Thu Khoa Huan Street (Binh Phu Quarter, Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An Town, Binh Duong).

At this time, people discovered the fire, so they shouted and tried to put it out. Because the warehouse was covered with corrugated iron and the door was locked, it was difficult to access the place where the fire started.
Minutes later, the fire spread rapidly, engulfing the entire 300 square meter warehouse. The intense fire created a large amount of heat and a huge column of smoke, threatening the surrounding households.

Upon receiving the news, the fire police force of Thuan An town mobilized 3 fire trucks and dozens of soldiers to the scene to put out the fire. Because the warehouse contained scraps of fabric, foam, and rubber, the fire burned fiercely, making it difficult for the authorities.
By 5 p.m. the same day, the fire was basically under control. The fire did not cause any human casualties, but all assets and scrap in the warehouse were burned down, and the warehouse's metal roof collapsed.
