(Baonghean.vn) - While selling chicken, Ms. Ngoc was hit in the leg by a concrete block falling from the construction site of an apartment building next door and had to be hospitalized for emergency treatment.

Accordingly, at around 9:00 a.m. on August 8, when Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc (45 years old, residing in Dong Vinh ward, Vinh city) was selling chicken in Hung Phuc market (Hung Phuc ward), a concrete block with a diameter of about 50cm from the apartment building construction project of Bao Son Investment, Construction and Tourism Group Joint Stock Company was suddenly hit by a falling concrete block, breaking the roof and hitting Ms. Ngoc.

As a result, Ms. Ngoc broke her leg and was taken to Nghe An General Hospital 115 for emergency treatment. When the accident happened, dozens of traders in the market ran away in panic. The incident was reported to the local authorities.

Upon receiving the information, Hung Phuc Ward Police quickly arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the incident, and at the same time requested the investor and construction unit to take measures to ensure safety during construction.

According to traders at Hung Phuc market, this is not the first time construction materials from the apartment building project have fallen into the market.
