Groundbreaking ceremony of WHA Industrial Zone 1-Nghe An wastewater treatment plant
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 6, in Nghi Thuan commune, Nghi Loc district, the groundbreaking ceremony of the WHA industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An wastewater treatment plant took place with a total capacity of 9,600 m3/day and night, designed and constructed by Asiatech Group, the general contractor, with a total value of more than 1.5 million USD.

The wastewater treatment plant of WHA industrial zone Nghe An company is one of the important stages in the implementation of the WHA Industrial Zone 1 Nghe An project - a project with a total investment of about 22,000 billion VND (equivalent to one billion USD); total area of over 3,200 hectares, in Nghi Loc and Dien Chau districts.

WHA industrial Zone Nghe An wastewater treatment plant will apply 3 most modern wastewater treatment technologies such as: biological treatment technology, automatic monitoring and control technology and energy saving technology for project operation.
In particular, Wetland technology (underground filtration) originating from Denmark is applied at the factory, the first time in Vietnam. Accordingly, wastewater is treated biologically thanks to aquatic plants, which have the ability to absorb pollutants and develop into biomass. Thanks to that, during the development process, they eliminate pollutants in wastewater.
In particular, the quality of treated wastewater and output water pollution indicators will be strictly controlled by an automatic monitoring system.
