Construction of Namyangju Dasan Korean Road in Vinh City begins

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 3, 2016, Vinh City People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Namyangju Dasan Road in Quan Bau Ward - Vinh City. Attending the groundbreaking ceremony was comrade Nguyen Hoai An - Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee.

Namyangju Dasan Road invested by Vinh City People's Committee is 920m long, the red line is 18m wide, the roadway is 9m wide, the sidewalk on each side is 4.5m wide, the starting point connects to Le Ninh Street, the ending point connects to Mai Hac De Street. The total investment of the project is over 46 billion VND, of which the cost of compensation for site clearance is 18.8 billion VND.

The road is funded by Namyangju City, South Korea, with a construction cost of 1 billion Won, equivalent to nearly 19 billion VND, and the rest is taken from the city budget. The project is scheduled to be completed in 12 months, with Nghe An Irrigation Construction Joint Stock Company 2 in charge of the construction. The Namyangju Dasan Road construction project is an important milestone in the sister city relationship between Namyangju City, South Korea, and Vinh City.

The construction of the route aims to strengthen the infrastructure to meet urban traffic requirements, ensure traffic safety and environmental sanitation, contribute to socio-economic development and urban beautification of Vinh city, and strengthen the relationship between the two cities of Vinh city and Namyangju city (Korea).
