Prosecuted 24 subjects gambling in the forest in Quynh Luu

(Baonghean.vn) - Lieutenant Colonel Dao Van Khoi - Captain of the General Investigation Team - Quynh Luu District Police said: The agency has just issued a decision to prosecute 24 subjects and temporarily detain 01 subject related to 39 subjects gambling on a large scale who were arrested in the early morning of November 11, 2015.

Evidence seized in a large-scale gambling case in the forest in hamlet 6, Tan Thang commune (Quynh Luu).

The prosecuted subjects include: 19 subjects residing in Quynh Luu district: Dau Duc Ha, Dau Duc Minh, Nguyen Dinh Chau, Tran Doan Son, Nguyen Thi Nha, Le Tien Lien, Nguyen Canh Giang, Ho Trong Au, Ho Sy Hung, Le Duc Thang, Nguyen Dinh Ho, Nguyen Dinh Chuong, Le Tien Thin, Le Tien Muoi, Ho Sy Son (Quynh Van commune); Nguyen Canh Thang, Nguyen Dang Huan, Nguyen Nam Cong (Quynh Tan commune); Nguyen Thi Phuong (Tuan B hamlet, Quynh Chau commune); 2 subjects residing in Hoang Mai town; Le Huu Tu, Nguyen Canh Chau (Quynh Xuan ward); 3 subjects from Nghia Dan district: Nguyen Van Hieu, Nguyen Ngoc Thai, Nguyen Hong Son

Previously, at 1:30 a.m. on November 11, the District Police deployed 3 working groups to arrest a gambling case using the form of "dice shaking" in the Da Bac hill and mountain area in Hamlet 6, Tan Thang Commune, Quynh Luu District. While the subjects were busy gambling, the Quynh Luu District Police raided and arrested 39 subjects. Evidence seized at the scene included 43 mobile phones; 210 million VND and some related evidence such as: discs, cards, batteries, electric wires, scoreboards, etc.

To organize gambling in the forest, the subjects used a 30-seat passenger car, a 7-seat car and 2 taxis as means of transportation./.
