Regarding the case of manufacturing health protection foods, using fake test results to bring products to market, on April 28, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency issued a decision to prosecute the accused, an arrest warrant for temporary detention, and a search warrant for the residence of 4 accused, including: Pham Vu Khiem, Vuong Thi Hoa, Le Thi Hong Van and Bui Thi Thu Ha, all for the crime of "Violating accounting regulations causing serious consequences" as prescribed in Clause 3, Article 221, Penal Code.

Herbitech Technology Company Limited (located at No. 56, Lane 144, Quan Nhan Street, Nhan Chinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City) with Pham Vu Khiem as Director and legal representative; the company operates in the production and trading of health protection food products. During the production of health protection food, Herbitech Company used fake test result certificates under the name of TSL Company to produce, process and announce products for consumption on the market.

On April 7 and April 18, the Investigation Agency searched the headquarters of Herbitech Company Limited Factory, seized records, documents and product samples for appraisal and investigation. Initial results so far, the Institute of Criminal Science of the Ministry of Public Security has issued an appraisal conclusion determining that the two health protection products MEDI KID CALCIUM K2 and An ngon BABY SHARK are counterfeit.

Currently, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency continues to seize 115 samples of health protection products produced by Herbitech Company with signs of counterfeit goods, awaiting appraisal results for the above product samples.

In addition, during the production and business activities of Herbitech Company, Pham Vu Khiem, Director of the Company, directed: Vuong Thi Hoa, Chief Accountant of Herbitech Company in 2021; Le Thi Hong Van, Chief Accountant of Herbitech Company from April 2022 to July 2024; Bui Thi Thu Ha, Head of Accounting Department of Herbitech Company from July 2024 to April 2025, to establish 2 accounting systems, including: 1 accounting system for tax declaration, showing the quantity of goods produced and traded much less than the actual quantity; The remaining accounting system is to track internal spending, fully self-manage the number of goods produced and traded, the amount of money collected is not declared for tax, leaving the amount of 121,089,016,223 VND off the accounting books, initially determining that it caused damage to the State Budget in the amount of Value Added Tax payable of 10,204,067,875 VND.

Currently, the case is under investigation and handling according to the provisions of law.
