Prosecution of the subject who stabbed the security guard at the Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital to death

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial Police will issue a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain Nguyen Van Thai (born in 1976, residing in Nam Cuong commune, Nam Dan district) to investigate the crime of murder.

Previously, at 7:45 am on June 30, at the parking lot of Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital, Thai used a knife to stab the hospital security guard, Mr. Lo Minh Huong (born in 1957), 4 times. After being stabbed, Mr. Huong ran into the hospital's examination room lobby to call for help and fell unconscious, losing a lot of blood.

Immediately, Mr. Lo Minh Huong was taken to the hospital's emergency operating room. 50 doctors, nurses and hospital staff donated 50 units of blood and 19 red blood cells for emergency transfusion. After being given emergency treatment, Mr. Lo Minh Huong was transferred from the Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital to the Provincial General Hospital where there are emergency resuscitation equipment for adults.

Despite the best efforts of doctors from Nghe An Obstetrics and Pediatrics Hospital and the Provincial General Hospital to save him, Lo Minh Huong passed away on the afternoon of July 1 due to severe injuries.
