(Baonghean.vn) - In response to the complicated developments of storm No. 10, the Department of Tourism has sent an official dispatch to the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities; departments and offices of the Department, the Tourism Promotion Information Center and tourism businesses in the province.

Official dispatch No. 1054/SDL-VP issued on September 14, 2017 requests:

People's Committees of districts, cities and towns inspect and direct tourist areas, tourist attractions, accommodation establishments and tourism businesses in their management areas to provide timely guidance on storm prevention and control plans; strengthen propaganda for tourists and take measures to prevent tourists from swimming in the sea before, during and after the storm makes landfall.

For accommodation establishments, there must be a plan to ensure absolute safety for people and property of tourists avoiding and taking shelter from storms at their accommodation establishments; be ready to receive and rescue tourists and residents when necessary.

In particular, before storms, it is necessary to remove billboards, protect assets, facilities and equipment of the unit and visitors.

The Department of Tourism requires travel agencies not to pick up or drop off tourists to tourist attractions during times and areas that may be affected by the storm; instruct tourists to take shelter from the storm safely, and absolutely not to carry passengers on the road when the storm hits.

The Department of Tourism requests that units, localities and business establishments, upon receiving the dispatch, promptly and effectively implement flood and storm prevention and control measures. At the same time, report and update the situation and developments to the Department for timely direction and handling./.
