(Baonghean.vn) - During the peak tourist season in 2023, the coastal city of Cua Lo (Nghe An) welcomes thousands of tourists every day to swim and relax. During this time, the culinary business areas become bustling because of the large number of customers who want to enjoy seafood.

In the afternoon, starting from around 6pm, after swimming in the sea, tourists often go to restaurants along the west side of Binh Minh Street (Cua Lo town) to enjoy seafood. Customers often go in groups of 5-10 people, even groups of dozens of people, making the culinary business area more crowded and bustling.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Dung, a tourist from Hanoi, said: “Our group was organized by the company to go to Cua Lo for a 5-day vacation. I am really satisfied with this place because the beach is clean and safe. Especially, the seafoodCua Lovery fresh, processed to ensure food safety and hygiene, and affordable prices. These things gave us a good impression of the coastal city of Cua Lo."

Like Mr. Nguyen Trong Dung, Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa, a tourist from Son La province, also shared her joy when she and her family came to Cua Lo beach town for a vacation. According to Ms. Hoa, Cua Lo attracts her family members because of the beauty of the sandy beach, the clear, cool sea water and the friendliness of the local people.

“The most enjoyable thing is to go swimming in the afternoon to “cool off”, dispel the summer heat and then come back to enjoy seafood. The shrimp, squid, crab and fish dishes are all fresh, well-prepared, you can eat them forever without getting bored”, said Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa.

Near evening, we walked along the food court on the west side of Binh Minh Street and noticed that most of the restaurants and eateries were crowded, many of which had full tables. According to the restaurant owners, most of the diners weretouristfrom Hanoi and the northern provinces to Cua Lo for vacation. The remaining guests are local tourists, of which the majority are from Vinh city.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai - the owner of a restaurant in Cua Lo said that since the opening of the tourist season, the number of customers has been quite steady and often increases on weekends and holidays. Currently, it is the peak season, Cua Lo welcomes thousands of tourists every day, so Mr. Hai's restaurant is often crowded in the late afternoon, that is, after customers have gone swimming in the sea.

Also running a restaurant in Cua Lo, according to Mr. Nguyen Van Huynh, his restaurant is almost full every day during this time. There are groups of up to dozens of people who book 2-3 days in advance, and there are days when customers arrive late and there is not enough room to serve them. "During peak season, the number of customers is very large, sometimes we cannot serve them in time, so in addition to the restaurant staff, we have to hire seasonal workers," said Mr. Huynh.

Mr. Hoang Thanh Son - Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Cua Lo town said: "The town has granted operating licenses to more than 150 restaurants providing food services in the West of Binh Minh Street, not to mention restaurants in other areas. Due to the reasonable arrangement of space as well as ensuring environmental hygiene and food hygiene and safety, the number of customers is quite stable and is tending to increase during the peak season".
