Checking and wishing a Happy New Year at the Vietnam - Laos border post

The working delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, President of the Provincial Women's Union inspected combat readiness and extended New Year greetings to the outpost of My Ly Border Guard Station.

Joining the delegation were Colonel Ho Quyet Thang - Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard; Comrade Tho Ba Re - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ky Son district.

The My Ly outpost is responsible for managing and protecting the border, ensuring security and order in the border area from marker 389 to marker 392 of the Vietnam - Laos border. Although stationed in a remote, difficult, and arduous place, with many shortages (no electricity, no telephone, far from residential areas), the officers and soldiers of the outpost always complete their tasks well, protecting the sacred border sovereignty of the Fatherland.

Here, the working delegation inspected the combat readiness of the checkpoint team during the Lunar New Year; visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to celebrate the Lunar New Year 2023 to officers and soldiers of the force on duty to protect the border at the checkpoint and Pung Vai village of Company 217, Military Command of Hua Phan province, Laos.
