Inspecting the work of the Youth Union and youth movement in Hung Nguyen

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 14, the Central Youth Union inspection team inspected the Youth Union work and youth movement in the first 6 months of 2016 in Hung Nguyen district.

Attending were comrade Nguyen Phu Truong - Standing Member of the Central Youth Union and representative of the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union.

In the first 6 months of 2016, Hung Nguyen District Youth Union organized 35 sessions to study the Party's resolutions, guidelines and policies and 6 political theory lessons for more than 5,230 union members and youths; 15 traditional talks with 4,200 union members and youths participating; 6/6 high schools successfully organized the forum "Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese youth" with the participation of more than 3,000 union members and youths.

Overview of the working session.

The district has 67 models of young people who are good at doing business. The movements "Volunteer Saturday" and "Green Sunday" have attracted a large number of union members and young people to participate; the program "Bowl of Love Porridge" at the District General Hospital has been well maintained; a new volleyball court has been built for the youth union branch in a special area in Hung Chau commune.

In the first 6 months of the year, the whole district admitted 592 members, introduced 98 outstanding members to the Party and had 64 comrades honored to be admitted; the work of caring for and educating teenagers and children continued to be effectively implemented.

Comrade Nguyen Phu Truong acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the Youth Union and youth movement of Hung Nguyen district in the first 6 months of 2016, and at the same time requested Hung Nguyen District Youth Union to focus on implementing a number of contents such as: Building appropriate methods, contents and implementation methods to put Directive No. 42-CT/TW of the Party Central Committee Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for the young generation in the period 2015-2030 into practice; organizing effective and quality summer youth volunteer campaigns; strengthening the organization of activities during the summer such as organizing summer camps, propagating drowning prevention for children, etc.
