Surprise inspection of facility 'treating cancer with alkaline ionized water' in Quynh Luu

During a surprise inspection at the private home of Mr. Bui Van Quang's family in Block 9, Cau Giat town, Quynh Luu district, which is also a water treatment facility with its address and phone number clearly stated on the advertising board, the Cau Giat town inspection team discovered that many people had gathered there for treatment.
Among them were many people from far away areas, some with terminal cancer who came for treatment. The group discovered that this facility had an alkaline ionized water filter system, 2 oxygen tanks, several foot massage machines, and many beds for people to lie down and receive treatment.
At the time of the inspection, Mr. Bui Van Quang was not at home, only his wife was present, so he could not present documents related to the practice license.
However, the town inspection team said that Mr. Quang's behavior violated regulations on providing medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate medical examination and treatment.
The delegation has made a record of the current situation and requested that the family stop using this method of treatment. According to the authorities, there is no medical literature on the use of alkaline ionized water to treat cancer. Cancer patients need to go to medical facilities for examination and evaluation. Doctors will prescribe treatment using scientific methods.
After the inspection, the Town People's Committee proposed to the District People's Committee to establish an interdisciplinary inspection team to take measures to deal with Mr. Bui Van Quang's medical facility; at the same time, propagate to people not to follow unscientific treatment methods such as fasting, drinking alkaline ionized water, not using Western medicine... not only losing the body's resistance, but also skipping the golden stage in disease treatment.
Previously, when working with the town police, Mr. Bui Van Quang said that this treatment method was learned from someone in Hanoi and he also assured that the treatment process did not involve consulting, introducing, buying or selling medicine or equipment. But later, the town police stepped in to verify, with completely opposite results. They discovered that Mr. Quang, while giving water to the patient, had boldly declared that only water filtered from his water purifier could cure the disease. Whoever was in need, he would sell the water purifier for use.
