Overseas Vietnamese in Nghe An offer flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 2 (the 6th day of Tet), the delegation attending the program Meeting with overseas Vietnamese from Nghe An returning to their homeland to celebrate the Spring of Dinh Dau 2017 held a flower offering ceremony at Ho Chi Minh Square.
Accompanying the delegation were comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs.

During his lifetime, President Ho Chi Minh always paid special attention to overseas Vietnamese. In his New Year letter to his compatriots in 1946, he wrote: “The Fatherland and the Government always miss you as parents miss their absent children. That is the human heart and the natural order, that is the love of a family.”

Inheriting and developing the ideology of great national unity and implementing Uncle Ho's teachings, the Party and State always consider overseas Vietnamese as an inseparable part, a resource of the Vietnamese ethnic community, and an important factor contributing to strengthening cooperative and friendly relations with other countries.

On the occasion of the traditional New Year of the nation, a large number of overseas Vietnamese gathered to respectfully offer fresh flower baskets to express their sincere hearts, infinite gratitude and deep respect for the great ideology and noble life of President Ho Chi Minh. The delegates pledged to uphold the spirit of self-respect, national pride, and preserve national identity even though they work and live far from their homeland./.
