A 7-year-old girl sang "Marching Song" in Ba Dinh Square on the morning of September 2, leaving an emotional moment in the hearts of the public.
During the 80th Anniversary of August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80) at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi, the audience was moved when the opening performance was performed by the clear voice of a 7-year-old girl.
My performance opened with familiar lyrics fromMarching Song:“The Vietnamese army marches, united in saving the country. Their footsteps echo on the long, bumpy road.”Thuy Tien's simple lyrics and clear voice touched the audience's hearts, evoking deep pride.
Immediately after that, My Tam and artists Phuong My Chi, Duc Phuc, Hoang Bach... sang together in the song "Proud Melody", creating a solemn and emotional atmosphere.
When the sacred sound of the Declaration of Independence read by President Ho Chi Minh resounded, the immortal oath "to devote all our spirit and strength, lives and property to maintain freedom and independence" touched the hearts and engraved deeply in the memories of the Vietnamese people.
This 7-year-old girl named Ha Thuy Tien, originally from Phu Cat commune, Quoc Oai district, is currently a student at Den Lu Primary School (Hanoi).

She was the face chosen to sing with My Tam on the sacred stage of the ceremony. With her confident demeanor, bright face and innocent, clear voice, Thuy Tien conquered the organizing committee and was trusted with this special responsibility.
Before that, Thuy Tien had studied dance and attended an art center since she was young, so she was quite bold on stage. During the practice days, she had many beautiful memories with the artists.
Sharing with the press, Mr. Ha Van Bao - Thuy Tien's father said that the family was overwhelmed when they learned that their daughter was chosen to participate in an important art performance at the ceremony. Initially, Thuy Tien was both happy and somewhat worried about the great responsibility, but thanks to the encouragement of her parents, she became more confident and spent more time practicing seriously.

During the practice, the artists, especially singer My Tam, also enthusiastically guided and corrected each movement.
Thuy Tien's presence alongside famous artists brought a unique color to the program. The moment she sang innocently but confidently, then smiled brightly in the middle of the Historical Square, became an unforgettable mark, evoking many emotions on this sacred occasion.
