Rivals 'look down' on Vietnam Futsal team

In an interview with FIFA.com in Spanish, brothers and Guatemalan national team players Edgar Santizo (29) and Miguel Santizo (31) admitted that their team had set a goal of reaching the round of 16, but only mentioned Italy and Paraguay. “Our goal is to reach the round of 16 at all costs, even with the play-off ticket for the best third-placed teams. However, I believe that Guatemala is here to compete for second place in the group. The opponent did not mention Vietnam's name even though their first match would be against a representative from Southeast Asia. They even 'defaulted' to beat Vietnam in their group stage campaign.
