Signing of the cooperation program between the Provincial Labor Federation and the Hanoi City Labor Federation for the period 2022 - 2027

Attending the event were comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and representatives of the leaders of the two agencies, the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Hanoi Federation of Labor. In recent times, Hanoi and Nghe An have cooperated and supported each other, achieving many good results in various fields. The cooperation results have made important contributions to the successful implementation of socio-economic development targets and tasks of the two localities.

To continue promoting the achieved results, the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Labor Federation and the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation signed an agreement.Work coordination program, period 2022 - 2027.

The coordination program aims to raise awareness and promote the role of workers, civil servants and laborers (CNVCLĐ) in Hanoi city and Nghe An province in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor's policies and laws, contributing to the implementation of the socio-economic development tasks of each locality; To exchange experiences in leadership, direction and operation of trade unions at all levels of the two localities in deploying and organizing the implementation of the CNVCLĐ movement and trade union activities.

The coordination program is implemented in 4 contents: Caring for the lives, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; Information and propaganda work; Organizing patriotic emulation movements among union members and workers and building strong grassroots unions, improving the quality and effectiveness of union staff activities.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, comrade Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor reported on some typical activities of Nghe An Trade Union in the past time, the signing of cooperation programs since the beginning of the year and the encouraging results in the efforts to develop union members and establish grassroots unions.Nghe An Trade Unionalso affirmed the significance of the program signed with the Hanoi City Labor Federation and acknowledged the careful and thoughtful preparation of the two units.

Similarly, Comrade Nguyen Phi Thuong - Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation also highly appreciated the quality of activities of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation and the socio-economic development of Nghe An in recent times. He affirmed that the signing program today is an important premise to expand the content of cooperation in the future, believing that the relationship between the two units and localities will become increasingly strong.

The coordination program was thoroughly disseminated to all levels of trade unions under the Hanoi City Labor Federation andNghe An Provincial Federation of Labor.Every year, the two units take turns hosting the conference to review the implementation of the Joint Work Program. Periodically after each year, the two sides hold a meeting to evaluate the results, draw lessons and develop an action plan for the following year.
