(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 30, at the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, a conference was held to sign a coordination program to support workers, employers, develop the labor market and ensure social security in Nghe An province.
Attending the signing ceremony were representatives of relevant sectors and units such as: Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Labor Federation, Provincial Social Insurance, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nghe An branch; Nghe An Association of Small and Medium Enterprises.

The signed cooperation program aims to strengthen measures to support the connection between labor supply and demand and accelerate the recovery of the labor market, providing enough labor for businesses and economic organizations; promptly supporting workers; Ensuring the implementation of the goal of developing progressive, harmonious and stable labor relations in the new situation; Well connecting supply and demand and developing a sustainable labor market, providing enough and timely quality labor for the market.
At the conference, the parties signed a coordination program to implement solutions to support workers, employers, and develop the labor market, ensuring social security in the province. Accordingly, the number of skilled workers will increase to meet labor market needs; Create better jobs for workers; Reduce the rate of unemployed, uneducated or untrained youth; Ensure a safe working environment for workers; Invest in and develop job transactions, a modern, synchronous, unified national labor market information system with interconnectivity between information systems.

Concluding the signing conference, Comrade Doan Hong Vu - Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs said: For the signing to be effective in the long term, the participating units need to have a chair and specify the content. The relevant parties gather information to provide the business situation, employment policies for workers; propagate for workers to properly implement the policies, propagate for business units to implement good labor safety. There needs to be a periodic annual assessment and develop a plan for the following year. By 2025, the coordination regulations will be summarized and the next plan will be discussed.
- The rate of trained workers with degrees and certificates will reach 31% by 2025 and 36.5% by 2030.
- The rate of workers with information technology skills will reach 80% by 2025 and 90% by 2030..
- Strive to maintain the general unemployment rate at below 1% by 2030, and the urban unemployment rate below 3%.
