The storm's strong winds blew the water from the waterfall into the air, creating a scene that looked like it was flowing upside down. The video has since gone viral and has attracted thousands of viewers.
Chris Smith, who shared the video, said he captured this spectacular scene at the time when Storm Callum was passing through. The strong winds caused the flow from the cliff to be pushed back into the sky, creating a unique moment of nature. "Unbelievable how strong the wind is. Nature is amazing," commented a netizen.
It is known that due to the impact of Storm Callum, Scotland and Wales are the areas most affected. Flooding has caused many roads to be submerged and interrupted. The town of Crickhowell in Wales has almost turned into a flooded "island".
A similar scene had previously occurred at a waterfall in Cumbria, part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, UK, last September. At that time, tropical storm Helena had just passed through the area. With winds reaching nearly 130 km/h, the laws of nature seemed to be turned upside down as the waterfall poured water back into the sky.
