Taking advantage of the soft soil after many days of rain, Ms. Moong Thi Soi in Pa Ca village, Nam Can commune focused on harvesting her family's peanut acreage. Ms. Soi excitedly said: "In previous years, we only knew how to grow low-yield upland rice; in 2020, our family replaced it with peanuts. Thanks to the favorable weather, few pests and diseases, and good growth of peanuts... the yield was high, the economic value was much higher than upland rice. By 2023, the family had expanded the acreage, after deducting the investment capital of more than 8 million VND for seeds, we expect to earn 50 million VND in profit". Photo: Lu Phu

Lac Ky Son does not use fertilizers or pesticides, so the products are quite convenient for consumption, traders buy all the products right at the foot of the fields for people, at a price of 15,000 VND/kg of fresh peanuts; 22,000 to 25,000 VND/kg of dried peanuts.
