(Baonghean.vn) - Former U23 Vietnam player Le Quoc Vuong has officially become assistant to head coach Pham Anh Tuan at Hai Phong Club. This is very surprising news for experts and football fans in the country.
Le Quoc Vuong only received his AFC C coaching certificate at the end of 2019. During the past time, after retiring from his football career (in 2013), the former midfielder born in 1983 has been doing jobs that are not related to football, except for interviews or commentating on matches of U23 Vietnam and the Vietnam National Team. It can be seen that Le Quoc Vuong has almost no coaching experience at this time.
In fact, Le Quoc Vuong is not a special case in the world of football, that is, being an assistant coach of the first team without having worked in the youth teams. Not to mention, in the past at SLNA, coach Nguyen Duc Thang was also appointed to the coaching staff of the Nghe An team, right after retiring from his "shorts and jersey" career.
