(Baonghean.vn) - Near Tet, Phu Thanh vermicelli village, Quynh Hau commune (Quynh Luu) is always busy with production work; every day people make about 25 tons of rice vermicelli to serve the market.

The rice vermicelli processing industry was introduced to the locality in the 1980s, when people produced it manually and on a small scale. Since 2005, households have boldly invested in rice vermicelli production machinery, saving labor and increasing productivity and quality. The entire Quynh Hau commune currently has nearly 100 households producing vermicelli with 20-25 tons of vermicelli per day, creating jobs for hundreds of workers with high incomes.
