Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper attended the inauguration ceremony of the Monument to the Martyrs of Quynh Hau Commune
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 24, Quynh Hau commune (Quynh Luu) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the commune's Monument to Heroic Martyrs. This is a project to celebrate the Party and Spring 2024.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association and leaders of Quynh Luu district.
The project to renovate and upgrade the Martyrs' Monument of Quynh Hau commune was started on September 18, 2023. After more than 4 months of construction, it was completed and put into use.
The Monument to the Martyrs of Quynh Hau Commune has an area of 1,940.5 m2 including the following items: Monument tower, stele with names of the martyrs, yard, surrounding fence, lighting system... The project has a total investment of 3.7 billion VND. This project is sponsored by comrade Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, a native of Quynh Hau, in connection with Pha Le Group, NEO FLOOR Joint Stock Company.
The Monument to the Martyrs of Quynh Hau Commune is a place where the souls of local martyrs gather, a place to educate the revolutionary tradition for the young generation, a place where people in the commune come to visit, burn incense to commemorate the Martyrs, the sons of Quynh Hau homeland who heroically sacrificed for the cause of protecting the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
On this occasion, comrade Le Quoc Minh's family, along with representatives of Pha Le Group and NEO FLOOR Joint Stock Company, presented 135 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to families of martyrs in Quynh Hau commune.
