(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 22, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee led by Mr. Phan Thanh Doai - Deputy Head of the Committee visited and wished the Quy Hau Diocese a Merry Christmas.

Quy Hau parish is located in Ky Tan commune, Tan Ky district. In 2018, the Party Committee, government and people of Ky Tan commune successfully built a new rural area, the socio-economic targets of the commune basically met and exceeded the set plan, the total annual production value is estimated at 240,503 million VND, equal to 103% of the plan, up 8.5% over the same period in 2017, the average income per capita is 31.6 million VND/year.

That achievement had a great contribution from the parishioners in the area, typically Father Ngo Van Hau and the Parish Executive Committee mobilized people to contribute 2,302 million VND to build 6.7 km of new rural roads in the parish hamlets. In particular, Father Ngo Van Hau mobilized resources to support 550 tons of cement to build a concrete road from the Diocese church to the Ho Chi Minh trail, 1.5 km long and 10 m wide.

Comrade Phan Thanh Doai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission sent Christmas wishes to the priests and parishioners of the diocese; acknowledged and commended the efforts of the parishioners and priests in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, taking care of economic development, building cultural families, and joining hands to build new rural areas.
