Party and State leaders visit President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

To celebrate the 88th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2018) and welcome the Lunar New Year 2018, today (February 3), the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid flowers and visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; laid wreaths and commemorated the heroic martyrs at the Monument to Heroic Martyrs, Bac Son Street, Hanoi.

Attending the funeral were: General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong; former General Secretaries Le Kha Phieu and Nong Duc Manh; President Tran Dai Quang; former President Tran Duc Luong; former Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Van An; Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Tran Thanh Man. Party and State leaders, former Party and State leaders; Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries, National Assembly Vice Chairmen, Deputy Prime Ministers; veteran revolutionaries and leaders of ministries, departments, branches and central organizations also attended the funeral.

Next, the delegation of the Party Central Committee, the President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front laid wreaths and paid tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument, Bac Son Street, Hanoi.
88 years under the leadership of the Party, for the cause of national liberation, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people, the Heroes, martyrs, soldiers, compatriots, and comrades have lived, fought, worked, and studied, ready to contribute, ready to sacrifice. Those loyal children will forever live with the Party, with the people, with the country.

On the same day, delegations from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi City Party Committee and People's Committee, the Central Organizing Committee... came to lay wreaths and visit President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum; lay wreaths and commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Heroic Martyrs Monument./.
