Previously, at around 10pm on April 25, the 3-room wooden stilt house of Mr. Cut Van May's family caught fire, along with many other properties completely burned down. After discovering the fire, the Village Management Board and villagers came to help, but the fire was too big and spread quickly, so it could not be saved.
At the time of the fire, no one was home because Mr. May and his wife were working as factory workers in Dong Nai province. Their three children were sent to their grandparents' house.
After hearing the news, the leaders of Ky Son district visited, encouraged and initially supported Mr. Cut Van May's family with 5 million VND.
