Nghe An provincial leaders offer incense at the National Historical Site of the Nine-Room Temple, Que Phong
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 15, a delegation of the Central Government, Nghe An province, and Que Phong district visited the Nine-Room Temple relic in Chau Kim commune, Que Phong district to offer flowers and incense on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the founding of Que Phong district (April 19, 1963 - April 19, 2023).
Attending the ceremony, on the side of Nghe An province were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
On the side of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there were comrades: Pham Dinh Phong - Deputy Director of the Department of Heritage; Vi Thanh Hoai - Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture.

The Nine-Garden Temple was built around the end of the 14th century and the beginning of the 15th century, along with the migration and settlement of the Thai people in Western Nghe An. This is the center of spiritual and cultural activities of the people of the nine villages and ten villages in the ancient Phu Quy region; a place to preserve, transmit and connect the unique cultural values of the Thai people.
The Nine-Room Temple has just been recognized as a National Historical Relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in Decision No. 963/QD-BVHTTDL dated April 13, 2023.

This is not only to honor and show gratitude to the deities who have contributed to the establishment of the village, but also to affirm the cultural values that are being preserved; at the same time, it establishes a higher legal basis for preserving, protecting and promoting the sustainable value of the relic.

In the sacred atmosphere, the provincial leaders and delegations offered flowers and incense to express their respect, remembrance and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the gods and those who had the merit of opening the village and establishing the village.
