Nghe An provincial leaders promote investment cooperation in Japan

(Baoghean.vn)-From October 24 to October 31, the Nghe An province delegation led by comradeNguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council ledvisited and participated in investment promotion and tourism development activities in Japan.On the morning of October 25, the delegation had a meeting and paid a courtesy call to Mr. Ha Ji me Furuta - Governor of Gifu province (Japan).

Also attending were comrade Le Minh Thong, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Office, departments of Planning and Investment, Foreign Affairs, Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Previously, in May 2016, Gifu Prefecture representatives visited and worked in Nghe An. During the visit, Gifu Prefecture's agricultural experts said that Gifu wanted to invest in Nghe An and the focus area would be high-tech agriculture.

Gifu Prefecture discussed the dissemination of the best knowledge in the field of agriculture from Gifu to Nghe An Province. At the same time, they also hoped that Nghe An would share its strengths, shortcomings and limitations in the past with Gifu Prefecture agricultural experts so that the two sides could cooperate and invest effectively.

At the meeting on May 23, 2016, the two sides discussed sending agricultural experts to survey Nghe An and Gifu provinces in the near future to share information about clean vegetable growing areas and grasp the strengths of Nghe An and Gifu in the agricultural sector.

Leaders of the two provinces discussed the potential for cooperation in various fields.

In the coming days, the provincial delegation will participate in a seminar on promoting investment, trade and tourism in Gifu province and visit a number of Gifu enterprises.

During this working trip, the delegation of Nghe An province will participate in the economic investment promotion seminar and the tourism seminar in Kanagawa province. In particular, the provincial leaders will give a speech at the seminar and Nghe An will also have a booth to display at these two seminars.
