(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 4, a delegation of the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province led by comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of the province came to congratulate the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province on the occasion of Vu Lan season of filial piety in 2023 (Buddhist calendar 2567).
Accompanying the delegation were comrade Tran Thi Thu Huong - Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of leaders of organizations: Provincial Labor Federation, Provincial Farmers' Association, Provincial Women's Union; Provincial Veterans Association, Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee.

Welcoming the delegation, on behalf of the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province, there were Most Venerable Thich Thanh Nhieu - Permanent Vice President of the Central Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of Nghe An province; Most Venerable Thich Tho Lac - Permanent Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Buddhist Sangha of the province.
Presenting a beautiful flower basket and a gift on the occasion of Vu Lan festival, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Duc Thanh wished the members of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee and monks, nuns and Buddhists good health and peace; at the same time, expressed gratitude to the Nghe An Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee for accompanying the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in the past time.

The contributions of the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee and the Venerables, monks, nuns and Buddhists have made an important contribution to preserving and building the great national unity bloc, building a cultural life according to the policies of the Party and State.
Comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh expressed his hope that in the coming time, monks, nuns, and Buddhists will continue to promote the tradition of patriotism, accompany local Party committees, authorities, and Fatherland Front Committees at all levels, share difficulties with compatriots, and join hands to build the homeland and country to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
